Superior Court
The Superior Court is composed of four Judges. All are elected by the citizens of Henry County and serve 4 year terms. Superior Court is a trial court of general jurisdiction. The court hears all felony criminal cases prosecuted by the Office of the District Attorney, all civil actions, and all appeals from lower courts of the circuit.

The Henry County Probate Court has jurisdiction over: Estates; Guardianships and Conservatorships of Incapacitated Adults; Temporary Guardianships of Minors; Conservatorships of Minors; Involuntary Treatments for Drug and Alcohol Abuse; Involuntary Commitments; Vital Records (Birth, Death and Marriage Certificates); Issuance of Concealed Weapons Carry Licenses (Gun Permit); and Issuance of Marriage Licenses.

It is the goal of Henry County Juvenile Court to provide concepts to strengthen and build the family unit in an order to overcome the adversities trying to undermine the family today.

The mission of the Henry County Accountability Court is to provide alternatives to incarceration for citizens who are involved in the criminal justice system as a result of mental health and/or substance abuse disorders including Veterans of the United States Armed Services.
